EPCA held their sixth monthly Forum in Madrid organised by our new Spanish member Nalba Consultancy. Twelve representatives attended from  Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Italy, Latvia, and the UK.   

Spanish external expert guest speakers were Fernando Rodriguez from Bizum and Rafael Muley from Visa Consulting. Members presented on a wide range of topics which included:

• ECBs Digital Euro – Is the Commercial model Sustainable?
• Lessons learned – Large merchant Architecture Design Studies
• MDM platforms in Italy
• National Integrated Transit Ticketing in the Netherlands
• Trends in the  B2B Card Market in Spain
• Next Generation Banking – a Look into the Future

Members also had an enjoyable evening tasting menu dinner at The Office Restaurant in central Madrid.

The next EPCA Forum is scheduled in October 2024 in Oslo.
